By using simple, but clever chemistry, the second stage converts the residual Chlorine to harmless Chloride. This is done by flowing the water through a layer of fine zinc-copper granules where the reaction takes place.

Third stage of the filter process is made up of a layer of activated Carbon, specially developed and produced from bituminous coal. Activated carbon is recognised by the USA’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as the best available technology

Finally, the fourth stage which uses a different type of activated carbon made from coconut shells. This type of activated carbon has the best pore sizes to hold on and get rid of a large number of different pollutants plus any smells or bad tastes to give you pure, good-as-bottled water quality anywhere in the home.
